‘Weaver St’ is Heat Wrays’ latest single ahead of their upcoming album Drip Down (releasing Jan 17). Sizzling fuzzed-out guitars burn their way across the track, dragged back and forth by the elastic tempo of the krautrock-inspired rhythm section. The sinister lyrics tell of a seance, mystical narratives such as this being a common theme across the upcoming album. ‘Weaver St’ is loud, mystical and hypnotic, at once lifting you up to the clouds and dragging you down into the pit. After 12 months of quiet due to “geographical separation” Heat Wrays have been summoned from their slumber to wreak havoc in 2024. -Adam Brown
